Trek Assessment #2

2. Describe, with details, two situations during Trek 01 and/or 02 in which you felt unusually peaceful, at ease, or contemplative.

During Trek 02, I was sitting by the river changing the batteries in the camera when I realized how calm I was and how quiet it was outside that day. I could hardly hear any traffic noise around me and there was no wind to rustle the leaves. I felt as if I were the only person in the area for several miles when in reality I was no more than a two minute walk up to Capitol Drive. I then proceeded to skip stones for a good fifteen minutes just to relax and think of more possible shots for my Trek. Another situation I felt quite at ease was during Trek 01, when I was recording sound as I was walking through Esta Brook Park. All the sounds just seemed so natural and before I had realized it, I had walked through most of the park recording for over five minutes, the ambient sounds of myself walking through the leaves.
