4. Describe your favorite experience, situation, place, or recollection from either of your Treks. Be specific about what happened, how you felt, how you reacted, and why you think this particular experience affected you so much.

I think my favorite experience on the Treks was during Trek 02 when I climbed a tree that was hanging about 10 feet over the river. I felt as if I were suspended over the river, which I tried to capture in some of my pictures and video. Although the clips didn’t turn out as good as I hoped, the experience was a lot of fun and really made me think about what kind of obstacles I might have to overcome as an aspiring filmmaker. Sometimes you have to go to great lengths to get just the perfect shot, and you have to do it with what you have available in your surroundings. I think this experience affected me so much because it showed me that even though you can try really hard to get intriguing and hard to reach angles, they may turn out to be not so good and how your least valued material may turn out to be your best, which just shows me how the business works.
